OneBanks put the human back in banking
U.K. startup, OneBanks, is putting up fully staffed banking kiosks in areas where larger banks once had a presence, but have since closed or were relocated, according to a report in Finextra.
The first kiosk will be placed in a store in Denny, a small town in Scotland that hasn’t had a bank branch in almost three years. The installation of the kiosk has also created seven new jobs for local people.
The fully staffed kiosk will be able to handle cash withdrawals, deposits, payments and face-to-face support.
